Gotta love Microsoft

My trading PC blue screened on me yesterday and wouldn't even boot up this morning. I spent all day downloading drivers and reinstalling programs. All this and I still have all sorts of problems. I may have a hardware issue at this point which would really be a pain in the @#$. Needless to say, I wasn't able to track the markets today and won't be able to do any research tonight. This will keep me on the sidelines tomorrow as well. At least I had some open positions move well today. Hopefully I can resolve these PC issues tonight.

Good Luck,

DT

how exactly is it Microsoft's fault that you have a hardware problem? It sounds like your hard disk is dying...

    Anon,
How did you arrive at that conclusion? I can boot up in Linux and everything is fine. I checked the hard drive and have no bad sectors. This is not a drive issue. The reason I say you have to love microsoft is because it is such a hassle to reinstall drivers and software and then clean up registry problems. No one can argue that.

    Cal,
Actually they were long, but the catch is that I posted this yesterday and most of the gains were given back today :(. What a crappy day to be a swing trader holding overnight positions. Hope your day was better.
